Contemporary Worship Band

Saint John Lutheran Church has a contemporary worship service the first
Sunday of every month at the second service (10:45 am).
We currently use the following instruments: keyboard, trumpet, guitar,
bass, flute, drums and voices. If you have vocal, instrumental or dramatic talent contact
Mark Stuart.
Rehearsal schedule:
Every Wednesday 7:30 in the sanctuary with a few modifications.
Instrumental Music
Those who have been blessed with the gift of instrumental music are
invited to play for worship services at selected times throughout the year. A 25 piece
chamber ensemble (strings, winds, percussion, keyboard) leads our worship on Christmas
Eve. Contact Pastor Reimann if you would like to participate.
Handbells
St. John has a three octave handbell choir, practices are held on Monday
evenings at 7 pm and members are asked to attend regularly. If you have any desire to
join, contact Bonnie Stottlemyer through the church office. Handbell practices are held
from fall through Easter and perform several times throughout the year at regular and
special worship services.
Mixed Chorus
The Mixed Chorus sings most Sundays alternating between early service
(8:00 am) and late service (10:45 am).
Practice is held Sunday from 6:30 - 8:15 pm in the new sanctuary. If you
love to sing and make a joyful noise to the Lord, please join us. One and all are welcome.
If you have any questions, come to a rehearsal or speak with either Director Cathy
Armstrong, or any choir member.
The choir sings in regular and special worship services from fall through
Pentecost (early June). During the summer months, soloists and ensembles add special music
to our worship services.
