Pastor Greig Pastor John Greig
Associate Pastor
John Edward Greig was born in Painesville, Ohio on December 9, 1963 to P. James and Mary Greig. He grew up on a dairy farm there. He graduated from Painesville Riverside High School in 1982, attended The Ohio State University from 1982 to 1984, then transferred to Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he graduated in 1986 with a BA in Natural Science. A year later, he was married to Kimberly Trombley of Detroit, Michigan. In 1998 John attended Concordia Seminary. He served his vicarage year at Concordia in Conover, NC (2000-2001) and graduated on May 17, 2002 with a Masters of Divinity degree. John was called back to Concordia in Conover after graduation and served there until 2005. John and Kim have three boys, Nyck, Ben and Zack.
Darlene Ulm Darlene Ulm
Director of Outreach and Assimilation
Darlene is the friendly face you see each Sunday morning! She coordinates visitor followups, aids new members through the membership process, helps coordinate our fellowship groups and develops ministry opportunities here at St. John. She has three children and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, crafts, and golf.
Linda Beal Linda Beal
Church Secretary
Linda has been the friendly voice of St. John for the past twelve years! She performs all the church secretarial duties, including the preparation of bulletins and announcements, facility scheduling and member updates. She is married and has four grown children.

Pastor Heimlich Pastor Gerald Heimlich
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Gerald P. Heimlich has served at St. John since the Christmas season of 1979. Anticipating the potential growth of the area, he led the church through two building programs, expanded outreach into the community through the addition of staff and began a preschool. Pastor Heimlich and his wife, Lois, have four grown children.
